The Loire Valley is utterly gorgeous in the spring – abundant lilacs, colourful bulbs and tumbling wisteria. I’ve done a quick recap of some of my favourite spots from our trip a couple of years ago. In putting together the collage, I noticed I chose three separate pictures from Chateau de Chaumont. Hmmm – voter bias? It probably was my favourite, all things considered…
The links to the original blogs are beneath the pictures. Enjoy! And Happy Victoria Day Weekend to all my fellow Canadians.

I definitely want the ducks and the climate to grow Wisteria. O wonder if there ever was any more colour in the stained glass window? I think it is charming the way it is, but I wonder.
They had similar windows throughout the chateau and they all had that delicate hue. It seemed more painted and/or etched than traditional stained glass. It was really beautiful. I took many pictures 🙂
