The Attic is where we follow loose threads, turn over interesting questions and occasionally pull something out of an old trunk to look at it again. History has an inconvenient habit of refusing to stay neatly in the past; an idea encountered in a book, a conversation or the morning news can send us wandering off in an entirely unexpected direction.
Expect questions without tidy answers, occasional deep dives, historical parallels, books worth arguing with, and ideas still under construction.
