Still in awe of the cheese tray at Bovey Castle, we set off for Tavistock in pursuit of cheese. Right behind the town market, we were told, you’ll find the shop. And we did!  Country Cheeses. Being Sunday, regrettably it was shut.  But we found it online! What did we ever do before the internet?

Tavistock is not just about cheese, apparently, as evidenced by the sign announcing “High Class Sausages”  on the side of one of their buildings!

We enjoyed walking around the town, snapping pictures of the beautiful buildings and interesting shops.

Closer to the river, we strolled through the town cemetery, taking note of the flowers growing wild across the old graves. It was a very peaceful spot.

We headed back across the bridge and got on our way once more. Destination: Bath, Somerset
